How does one get invited to the Quora Partner Program? What criteria do they use, or is it completely random?
I live in Germany. I got an invite to the Quora partner program the day I landed in USA for a business trip. So from what I understand, irrespective of the number of views on your answers, there is some additional eligibility criteria for you to even get an email invite.If you read the terms of service, point 1 states:Eligibility. You must be located in the United States to participate in this Program. If you are a Quora employee, you are eligible to participate and earn up to a maximum of $200 USD a month. You also agree to be bound by the Platform Terms (https://www.quora.com/about/tos) as a condition of participation.Again, if you check the FAQ section:How can other people I know .participate?The program is invite-only at this time, but we intend to open it up to more people as time goes on.So my guess is that Quora is currently targeting people based out of USA, who are active on Quora, may or may not be answering questions frequently ( I have not answered questions frequently in the past year or so) and have a certain number of consistent answer views.Edit 1: Thanks to @Anita Scotch, I got to know that the Quora partner program is now available for other countries too. A2AThanks for the question Aniket.Quora does not make the A2A process an easy one for QPs who want to use them ALL. Just to let you know, there IS a limited number of questions you can A2A per 24 hour period. I think it is around 75. Nevertheless, it takes about 2 hours just to use up all of those A2As if you were so inclined.I believe Quora would rather you focused on creating 10 questions a day than using up your A2As.Since the change in how Quora uses your questions recently, I believe this is a better use of your time, too. I’ve been in the program since September. I have not missed one day in using A2As like you are talking about. Before Quora changed policy on how they value questions, I had begun to see a surge in my daily payout. The change shut that right down. Now, the only way to earn is to self promote from outside (which you’d have to spend lots of money on) or ask a lot of search engine friendly questions, and I mean, A LOT.If you don’t want to click, click, click through A2As, I suggest you focus on the daily goal of 10 questions a day and let Quora do the promoting of the questions.
Is it advisable to fill out a DS-160 with your immediate relatives?
I don't think its necessary . Most of the information asked in the DS- 160 are quite straight forward and are mostly about the person applying for the visa. If you need additional information , you can always save the form and edit it after getting the information you need. Hope this helps :)
